We would like to thank all the hundreds of donors that have been generously donating for our activities. Any donation, even the most modest, helps us to perform our daily work in creating trust building gathering and long term relationships.

Our dear friends
Your help and support of our daily work to promote relationships and trust and peace building is blessed.

We will be happy if you would like to support us. Most of our activity is being done by volunteers, doing a lot for this cause. Yet we need financial support in order to cover the multiple expanses including busses, food, media, etc. We thank you for your support and wish to see you in the coming activity.

Young leadership seminar : Jordan – Israel – Palestine
It's raining in the desert!  Forty four Palestinians, Israelis, Jews, Arabs, Muslims, one Jordanian, and two Americans are gathered here in Mizpe Ramon, deep in the Negev/Naqab Desert for The URI-Sulhita Leadership Seminar.

Despite the increasing tension in Jerusalem, closures in the West Bank until just a few hours before the seminar, and the last minute cancellation by some participants due to media reports of violence, we decided to go ahead with the program.  After a very long journey, our bus full of courageous young leaders arrived here yesterday evening full of energy and ready to build meaningful relationships and explore our collective power to transform this conflict and build a brighter future for all

We invite you to contribute in any way in order to help this even to happen. The costs of the event, based on a voluntary work in a large scale, are 8000$. We will be happy if you choose to grant a single participant in the cost of 200$ or any other amount. We also need stills and video photographers that could help in the documentation and editing of a movie about the project.

Sulha Family Gathering at the Dead Sea
On February 26 and 27, twenty Israelis and Palestinians were hosted by Ilana Me’alem of Eco-Spirit, at her temporary home by the Dead Sea. On the first day we were challenged by unusually stormy weather. We cooperated as one family and managed to stay dry throughout the entire day thanks to amazing teamwork
(see pictures)

On the second day we were blessed with amazingly sunny weather which allowed us to enjoy our time together in the hot springs and in the sea. We prepared food together, sang, and concluded our two days with a deep, long sharing circle.

Sulhita youth are trained to make presentations and facilitate discussions with school groups about the transformation that they have experienced. On March 5, they shared their message of hope with youth from Italy, telling them “it’s possible to meet, work and live together!"

Activities of Sulha members in response to the Acco riots

on the eve of Yom Kippur 2008

In October 2008 riots erupted in Acco, a place where Jews and Arabs have lived as neighbors for many years. The city was flooded with violence and angry accusations. In a rapid response to this situation, a group of ten friends from the Sulha and Sulhita youth travelled to Acco, erected a dialogue tent and invited Arab and Jewish residents of the city and other visitors from around the country to sit together and participate in listening circles and related activities. They were supported by our long-term partners from the Bereaved Families’ Forum
