Sulhita family reunion at Newe Shalom

A special reunion for Sulhita participants together with their parents!

We gathered in Newe Shalom, participants of the last Sulhita in November. This time, we brought our parents with us, so they will be able to sense some of what we have experienced. It was joyful to meet each other, and interesting to learn more about one another by getting to know our parents. We participated in listening circles and discussed the role of a home in shaping ones identity and knowledge regarding the conflict. We played social games together, sang Sulhita songs with Gabi, and shared a meal.

Strong is our belief that we have influenced our parents, and widen the circle of Sulha. Each one makes a difference. It is time now to start preparing for the 5th Sulhita, April 3rd-7th.

Sulhita youth leadership
The leadership group of Sulhita youth has been
 gathered about ten times during the months
since the Sulhita gathering in which
 they were met and got connected.
Promotion of workshops in the spirit of Sulha

of groups and organizations to book workshops led by 
facilitators from the Sulha family.

September 24-27 2009 in the Holy Land 
desert, the Sixth Youth Sulhita gathered 90 participants-
Bedouins, Druze, Arab and Jewish Israelis,
including from Sderot, with  40 Palestinians
from across the border and for whom there
was 100% success in getting permits.
